Produkt beskrivelse - Bletilla Striata Variegata
Bletilla striata ‘Variegata’ is a hardy ground orchid prized for its elegant, orchid-like blooms and striking variegated, pleated leaves that resemble a miniature iris. The fresh green foliage with pale striping stays decorative through the growing season, making the plant attractive even when not in flower. Its refined look fits woodland-style borders, shaded rock gardens, and premium container displays. This variety is ideal when you want an unusual, easy-to-grow terrestrial orchid with both floral and foliage interest.
The plant grows to a height of about 45–60 cm (18–24 inches) and produces charming orchid-like flowers with a diameter of 4–5 cm. Its blooms rise on upright stems above the textured variegated foliage, making it perfect for partially shaded beds, humus-rich borders, or pots where the leaf pattern can be appreciated up close. ‘Variegata’ performs best in moist, fertile, well-drained soil in partial shade (or gentle sun) and benefits from regular watering during active growth to keep the foliage lush and support flowering in late spring to early summer.
