Canna ‘Red Wine’ is a bold, dramatic garden canna valued for its rich, wine-red flowers and strong tropical character. The deep colouring creates an instant sense of luxury and pairs beautifully with bronze or dark foliage, purple perennials, and ornamental grasses for a high-contrast summer display. With its tall, upright habit and lush leaves, it adds structure and an exotic silhouette to borders even before peak flowering. This variety is an excellent choice for statement planting in sunny beds and large patio containers.
The plant grows to a height of 150–180 cm (59–71 inches) and produces deep wine-red flowers with a diameter of 5–10 cm.
