Produkt beskrivelse - Canna Shining Scarlet
Canna ‘Shining Scarlet’ is a bold, tropical-looking canna with vivid scarlet-red flowers that instantly adds heat and drama to summer beds and patio containers. Its lush, upright growth and broad leaves create a strong architectural accent, making it ideal for “exotic style” plantings. Compact yet impactful, it’s an excellent way to add a vibrant focal point without needing a large planting area. It’s also a great choice for pairing with grasses and dark-leaved plants to intensify the red tones.
The plant grows to a height of 70–80 cm (28–31 inches) and forms showy scarlet-red blooms with a diameter of 5–10 cm. Its strong, upright habit makes it perfect for large pots and tubs, sunny patio displays, and warm-season borders where you want height and colour without fuss. Flowering typically runs from mid-summer into early autumn, and ‘Shining Scarlet’ performs best in full sun in fertile, well-drained soil kept evenly moist.
