Currant Collection is a hand-picked mix of currant bushes selected to deliver reliable harvests and a varied flavour range for the kitchen. Currants are valued for their intense aroma and high productivity, with berries that are excellent for fresh use, syrups, juices, jams, and baking. A mixed collection also adds diversity in berry colour and taste, making the harvest more interesting and extending the picking window. Once established, the bushes are typically hardy and generous, producing dependable crops with minimal fuss year after year.

The plants grow to a height of about 100–150 cm (39–59 inches), depending on variety and pruning, and produce berries about 0.8–1.2 cm across in a mix of red, black, and white. Their compact, shrub-form growth fits neatly into edible borders and berry rows, while the clustered fruits are easy to harvest and highly versatile in the kitchen. Harvest typically runs from June to August, and the collection performs best in full sun to light partial shade in fertile, well-drained soil kept evenly moist during flowering and fruit swelling. Annual late-winter pruning helps keep bushes open, healthy, and consistently productive.
