Rose ‘Dannahue’ is an elegant garden rose valued for its attractive pink blooms and reliable ornamental presence in sunny borders and rose beds. It works easily into mixed planting schemes and can also provide good stems for cutting, bringing classic rose character to bouquets. With regular deadheading, it typically flowers in repeat flushes, extending the display well beyond the first bloom cycle. The soft pink tones pair beautifully with lavender, catmint, and ornamental grasses for a calm, romantic border style.
The plant grows to a height of about 110 cm (43 inches) and produces classic rose blooms with a diameter of around 5–10 cm in pink tones that may shift slightly with season and conditions. The flowers sit nicely on cut-worthy stems, making them useful both as a garden feature and for simple vase arrangements. Flowering typically runs from late spring to autumn with repeat blooming when spent flowers are removed. Rose ‘Dannahue’ performs best in full sun in fertile, well-drained soil enriched with compost, with deep watering in dry periods, feeding after the first flush, and annual pruning in late winter or early spring to keep growth healthy and well shaped.
