Rose ‘Golden Celebration’ is a classic garden rose loved for its large, glowing golden-yellow blooms and rich, romantic presence in the garden. The flowers bring warm colour and a nostalgic English-rose feel to sunny borders, rose beds, and mixed perennial plantings, and they’re also excellent for cutting. This variety makes a strong focal point and blends especially well with blue-purple companions as well as soft apricot or cream tones. The full, richly petalled blooms catch low light beautifully, adding a gentle “sunshine” glow in the evening.
The plant grows to a height of 120–150 cm (47–59 inches) and produces large, richly petalled blooms with a diameter of about 10–15 cm in golden-yellow shades that may vary with weather and maturity. The rounded flowers create a warm, romantic highlight in borders and provide generous stems for lush, English-style bouquets. Flowering typically runs from late spring to autumn with repeat flushes when spent blooms are removed. Rose ‘Golden Celebration’ performs best in full sun (around 5–6 hours of direct light) in fertile, well-drained soil enriched with compost, with regular watering while establishing, feeding after the first flush, and pruning in late winter to support healthy, vigorous growth.
