Rose ‘Lustige’ is an elegant garden rose with large, expressive blooms in warm orange-yellow tones and a classic rose form. The variety is valued for its showy, repeat flowering, bringing bright colour to rose beds, mixed borders, and sunny accent plantings across the season. The blooms also work well as cut flowers, adding a warm, glowing note to bouquets. With regular care, ‘Lustige’ rewards gardeners with strong performance and a consistently decorative display.
The bush forms an upright, neat habit and typically reaches about 70–90 cm (27–35 inches) in height, making it suitable for both border planting and feature containers. For best results, plant in full sun (or light shade) in fertile, well-drained soil, water during dry spells, and mulch annually to keep the root zone evenly moist. Deadhead spent flowers to stimulate new buds, and feed during the growing season for stronger repeat flushes. Prune in late winter or early spring to shape the plant and encourage vigorous new shoots, and provide winter protection in colder areas.

To guarantee the best result and quality of our plants and bulbs, we dispatch all our orders at the right planting period. We monitor harvests in The Netherlands and weather conditions across Europe and start shipping our orders according to the following schedule:
- Summer Flowering Bulbs (dahlias, gladioli, begonias, etc.) - from 23 March until 1 July.
- Spring Flowering Bulbs (tulips, hyacinths, daffodils, etc.) - from 20 September until 1 December.
- Seeds and Garden Tools – all year round
- Roses, Perennials (except peonies), Bushes and other plants in pots - from 1 March until 1 June.
