Rose ‘Nye Bevan’ is a refined garden rose celebrated for its creamy, elegant blooms and a calm, sophisticated presence in the garden. It flowers in repeat flushes, brightening sunny borders and rose beds with a soft, classic look, and it also provides beautiful stems for cutting. The gentle colouring is easy to mix into almost any planting scheme, from pastels to deeper, moodier tones. It’s an excellent choice for adding light and contrast to the border, especially when paired with blues, purples, or dark foliage.
The plant grows to a height of about 110 cm (43 inches) and produces large blooms with a diameter of 10–15 cm in creamy white to soft butter-yellow tones (shade may vary with weather and maturity). Its elegant flowers sit on strong stems above healthy green foliage, making it perfect for sunny borders, classic rose beds, and cutting gardens where you want a calm, luminous focal point. Flowering typically repeats in flushes from late spring to autumn, and ‘Nye Bevan’ performs best in full sun and fertile, well-drained soil with regular watering in the first season. Deadhead spent blooms, feed in spring and after the first main flush, and prune in late winter to keep the plant vigorous and flowering well.
