Weigela Shrub Collection is a hand-picked mix of weigela (Weigela) shrubs chosen for easy growth, abundant seasonal flowering, and strong garden structure. Weigelas are loved for their trumpet-shaped blooms that attract pollinators and for their dense, bushy habit, making them ideal for borders, mixed shrub beds, and informal hedging. A mixed collection creates a richer, more layered effect by combining different flower shades and foliage tones for longer-lasting interest. With their dependable performance and generous flowering, weigelas are an excellent choice for adding colour and volume to the garden with minimal fuss.
The plants grow to a height of about 100–200 cm (39–79 inches), depending on variety and pruning, and produce clusters of trumpet-shaped flowers about 2–4 cm long in mixed shades (typically pink, red, and white). Their compact, branching form creates a sturdy backdrop in the border, while the blooms add a bright seasonal highlight that’s easy to repeat through the garden for a cohesive look. To guarantee the best result and quality of our plants and bulbs, we dispatch all our orders at the right planting period. We monitor harvests in The Netherlands and weather conditions across Europe and start shipping our orders according to the following schedule:
- Summer Flowering Bulbs (dahlias, gladioli, begonias, etc.) - from 23 March until 1 July.
- Spring Flowering Bulbs (tulips, hyacinths, daffodils, etc.) - from 20 September until 1 December.
- Seeds and Garden Tools – all year round
- Roses, Perennials (except peonies), Bushes and other plants in pots - from 1 March until 1 June.
