Canna Shining Lemon

Canna ‘Shining Lemon’ is a fresh, tropical-style garden canna that lights up summer borders and patio containers with clear lemon-yellow blooms. The bright, clean colour works beautifully in modern plantings and pairs especially well with purple-leaved plants, deep blue flowers, and silver or lime-green foliage for strong contrast. Its upright, architectural habit also adds structure and an exotic look from early growth through peak flowering. This variety is ideal when you want a sunny accent that stays vibrant and crisp in the garden.

The plant grows to a height of 90–110 cm (35–43 inches) and produces large lemon-yellow flowers with a diameter of 10–15 cm. Its luminous blooms are carried on sturdy stems above broad decorative foliage, making it well suited for sunny borders and statement containers where strong colour and a bold, tropical silhouette are needed. ‘Shining Lemon’ thrives in full sun in fertile, evenly moist but well-drained soil and responds well to regular watering and feeding for vigorous growth and reliable flowering through the season.
