Lily (Lilium) Volvic

Lily (Lilium) 'Volvic' is an elegant TA hybrid lily celebrated for its pristine, snow-white blooms with a soft light-green throat that adds a fresh, refined accent. The large, waxy flowers (about 15–20 cm across) are beautifully presented facing upward and outward, giving the plant a clean, architectural look in summer borders. It also has a light, pleasant fragrance, making it especially attractive near patios and seating areas. In bouquets, the pure white colour looks luxurious and is a favourite for wedding and classic white-and-green arrangements.

The plants typically grow to 100–120 cm (40–48 inches) and produce strong, upright stems with multiple buds that open in sequence for a longer summer display. 'Volvic' flowers in July–August and performs best in full sun to partial shade, where the white tones stay crisp and bright. For best results, plant in fertile, well-drained soil and avoid areas where water stagnates after rain, as lilies prefer even moisture without waterlogging. This variety is ideal for feature planting in the middle of mixed borders and for dependable cutting throughout the flowering period.
