Productomschrijving - Begonia Fimbriata Scarlet
Begonia ‘Fimbriata Scarlet’ is a spectacular tuberous begonia with beautifully frilled, fringed double blooms that bring intense scarlet colour to summer and autumn displays. The ruffled flowers create a rich, textured look in patio pots, window boxes, and containers, and they pair especially well with silver foliage and other shade-tolerant summer companions. This variety is ideal when you want a long-flowering begonia with extra decorative detail in every bloom.
The plant grows to a height of 20–30 cm (8–12 inches) and produces generous double flowers with a diameter of 10–15 cm in a vivid scarlet-red shade. Its showy, carnation-like blooms sit above compact green foliage, making it perfect for pots and tubs, balcony boxes, and neat front-of-border planting in bright shade. Flowering typically runs from June to October, and ‘Fimbriata Scarlet’ performs best in partial shade to light shade in fertile, well-drained soil kept evenly moist.
