Iris Dutch Budget Collection is a value-friendly mix of Dutch iris bulbs selected to deliver an elegant spring-to-early-summer display with minimal effort. Dutch irises are loved for their refined, orchid-like blooms on straight stems, making them ideal for borders, cutting gardens, and patio containers. As a budget mix, it’s an easy way to fill beds with colour and create a light, airy effect that pairs beautifully with tulips, alliums, and late daffodils. Their slender stems add a subtle, florist-style finish to mixed plantings, bringing height and grace without making the border look heavy.
The plants grow to a height of about 40–60 cm (16–24 inches), depending on the varieties included, and produce elegant flowers with a diameter of about 8–12 cm in assorted colours. The narrow, upright foliage supports the blooms and keeps the planting looking neat while the flowers add a crisp vertical accent through the late-spring period. Flowering is typically from late spring to early summer (varies by variety), and the collection performs best in full sun to light partial shade in fertile, well-drained soil that’s kept lightly moist during growth, then allowed to die back naturally after flowering so the bulbs can recharge.

We deliver flower bulbs, seeds, perennials, roses and other plants to more than 30 countries across Europe. The standard delivery charge is added on orders depending on the country where you live.
To guarantee the best result and quality of our plants and bulbs, we dispatch all our orders at the right planting period. We monitor harvests in The Netherlands and weather conditions across Europe and start shipping our orders according to the following schedule:
- Summer Flowering Bulbs (dahlias, gladioli, begonias, etc.) - from 23 March until 1 July.
- Spring Flowering Bulbs (tulips, hyacinths, daffodils, etc.) - from 20 September until 1 December.
- Seeds and Garden Tools – all year round
- Roses, Perennials (except peonies), Bushes and other plants in pots - from 1 March until 1 June.
