Dahlia ‘Misses Trucella’ is a vibrant decorative dahlia that brings warm orange colour and a cheerful focal point to summer and early autumn plantings. Its richly coloured blooms stand out in sunny borders and look especially beautiful alongside ornamental grasses, echinacea, rudbeckia, and plants with purple or deep green foliage. This variety is also excellent for cutting, adding glowing colour and structure to seasonal bouquets.
The plant grows to a height of 40–60 cm (16–24 inches) and produces generous flowers with a diameter of 10–15 cm. Its vivid orange blooms, held on sturdy stems above fresh green foliage, are ideal for the front to middle of borders, compact garden beds, and statement patio containers, as well as for long-lasting cut-flower arrangements throughout the season. ‘Misses Trucella’ performs best in full sun in fertile, well-drained soil with consistent moisture, and regular deadheading helps keep the plant flowering freely.
