Gladiolus ‘Violet King’ is a striking gladiolus that brings elegant height and rich pink colour to summer and autumn borders. Its large blooms create a strong vertical accent and pair beautifully with ornamental grasses, dahlias, and late-season perennials for a fresh, romantic palette. Loved by pollinators, it helps fill the garden with extra movement and life during the peak season. This variety is also excellent for cutting, adding drama and soft colour to tall seasonal arrangements.
The plant grows to a height of 90–100 cm (35–39 inches) and produces impressive flowers with a diameter of 10–15 cm in a vibrant pink shade. Its showy blooms, arranged along upright stems above fresh green, sword-like foliage, are ideal for the middle to back of sunny borders, statement groups in mixed beds, and long-lasting cut-flower displays throughout the season.
