Rose ‘The Country Parson’ is a classic garden rose with a refined, old-fashioned charm and beautifully formed blooms that suit cottage-style borders and traditional rose beds. Its soft, elegant colouring brings a calm, timeless feel to mixed plantings and looks especially lovely alongside lavender, catmint, and airy perennials. The plant grows to a height of about 110 cm (43 inches) and produces beautifully formed blooms with a diameter of 5–10 cm in creamy white to soft lemon tones (shade may vary with weather and maturity). Its refined, old-fashioned flowers are carried on strong stems above healthy green foliage, making it perfect for cottage-style borders, traditional rose beds, and cutting gardens where you want a classic, romantic focal point. Flowering typically repeats in flushes from late spring to autumn, and ‘The Country Parson’ performs best in full sun (at least 5–6 hours of direct light) in fertile, well-drained soil enriched with compost, with regular watering during establishment. Deadhead spent blooms to encourage new buds, feed in spring and after the first main flush for better repeat flowering, and prune in late winter to shape the plant and promote vigorous new growth.
