Ranunculus and Freesia Collection is a beautifully coordinated mix of ranunculus corms and freesia bulbs, selected for an elegant spring-to-early-summer display with rich colour and a refined, boutique-style finish. Ranunculus brings full, rose-like blooms with a lush, layered look, while freesia adds airy flower sprays and a lovely fragrance that makes the planting feel especially “garden-fresh.” Together they suit borders, raised beds, and containers, and they’re also an excellent choice for cutting when you want a steady supply of stems for fresh bouquets. With both texture and scent in one mix, this collection creates a polished display that looks intentional even in a small space.
The plants grow to a height of about 25–50 cm (10–20 inches) and produce blooms with an approximate diameter of about 4–10 cm, depending on the varieties included. The combination of dense, layered ranunculus flowers and graceful freesia sprays gives a balanced look with both fullness and lightness in the same planting. Flowering is typically from spring to early summer, and the collection performs best in sun to light partial shade in fertile, well-drained soil kept evenly moist during active growth, then allowed to die back naturally after flowering so the bulbs/corms can recharge.

Plantnings- og plejevejledning
Ranunkler danner fantastiske, fyldte blomster, der er ideelle til bede, kanter, krukker og som afskårne blomster. De er nemme at dyrke og giver et smukt blomsterflor under de rette vækstbetingelser.
- Plantetidspunkt: Plant knoldene om foråret fra marts til maj (efter frosten). Blomstringstiden er generelt fra maj til juli.
- Placering og jordbund: Vælg en placering i fuld sol eller let halvskygge. Plant i en næringsrig, løs og veldrænet jord. Undgå områder, hvor vandet samler sig.
- Plantedybde og afstand: Læg knoldene i blød i lunkent vand et par timer før plantning, og placer dem med "kløerne" nedad. For ranunkelknolde, størrelse 5/6 cm, plantes i ca. 5–8 cm dybde og med 10–15 cm afstand.
- Vanding: Vand efter plantning og hold jorden let fugtig under væksten. Undgå at jorden bliver sumpet.
- Dyrkning i krukker: Brug krukker eller altankasser med drænhuller og en næringsrig, veldrænet pottemuld.
- Efter blomstring: Fjern afblomstrede blomster, men lad bladene sidde, indtil de naturally gulner og visner ned.
- Vinteropbevaring: I kolde områder graves knoldene op før frosten og opbevares tørt og køligt om vinteren.

To guarantee the best result and quality of our plants and bulbs, we dispatch all our orders at the right planting period. We monitor harvests in The Netherlands and weather conditions across Europe and start shipping our orders according to the following schedule:
- Summer Flowering Bulbs (dahlias, gladioli, begonias, etc.) - from 23 March until 1 July.
- Spring Flowering Bulbs (tulips, hyacinths, daffodils, etc.) - from 20 September until 1 December.
- Seeds and Garden Tools – all year round
- Roses, Perennials (except peonies), Bushes and other plants in pots - from 1 March until 1 June.
