Canna ‘Red Velvet’ is a luxurious garden canna known for its dramatic, deep blood-red flowers and bold, tropical presence. The rich bloom colour looks especially velvety in bright sun and creates a powerful accent in hot-colour borders and exotic-style plantings. With its large, decorative foliage, the plant stays attractive all season, even between flowering waves. It is an excellent choice for adding height, structure, and intense colour to sunny gardens and large containers.
The plant grows to a height of 100–150 cm (39–59 inches) and produces deep blood-red flowers with a diameter of 5–10 cm from July to September.
