Product Description - Canna Red Velvet
Canna ‘Red Velvet’ is a luxurious garden canna known for its dramatic, deep blood-red flowers and bold, tropical presence. The rich bloom colour looks especially velvety in bright sun and creates a powerful accent in hot-colour borders and exotic-style plantings. With its large, decorative foliage, the plant stays attractive all season, even between flowering waves. It is an excellent choice for adding height, structure, and intense colour to sunny gardens and large containers.
The plant grows to a height of 100–150 cm (39–59 inches) and produces deep blood-red flowers with a diameter of 5–10 cm from July to September. Its насыщенно красные blooms, held on strong upright stems above massive ornamental foliage, are ideal for the back of borders, tropical-style beds, and statement containers where the colour can read from a distance. ‘Red Velvet’ thrives in full sun in fertile, well-watered soil and reliably delivers its best performance with regular watering and feeding throughout the growing season.
