Lily (Lilium) 'Double Princess' is a double-flowered Asiatic lily appreciated for its bright blooms and its neat, decorative look in summer plantings. Istruzioni di piantagione e cura
I gigli sono eleganti bulbi a fioritura estiva, ideali per aiuole, bordure, vasi e composizioni di fiori recisi. Per una fioritura ottimale, scegliere una posizione adeguata e rispettare la profondità di piantagione consigliata.
- Epoca di piantagione: Piantare i bulbi in primavera (da marzo a maggio) o in autunno (da settembre a dicembre). La fioritura avviene generalmente in estate, da giugno a luglio.
- Posizione e terreno: Scegliere una posizione soleggiata o a mezza ombra. Piantare in un terreno ricco, sciolto e ben drenato. Evitare i ristagni idrici.
- Profondità e distanziamento: Posizionare i bulbi con la punta rivolta verso l'alto. Per i bulbi di giglio standard, dimensione 14/16 cm (XL), piantare a circa 12–15 cm di profondità e a una distanza di 20–30 cm l'uno dall'altro.
- Annaffiatura: Annaffiare regolarmente durante la crescita, evitando tuttavia l'eccesso di acqua.
- Coltivazione in vaso: Utilizzare vasi o fioriere dotati di fori di drenaggio e terriccio fertile e ben drenato.
