Begonia Pendula Cascade Pink is a beautifully flowering branching plant in the Begonia family.
Appearance
The shrub is 20 cm high and 10 cm wide. The stems are branched, can reach 30 cm in length, and have small, slightly parted, green leaves. The flowers are simple, large (up to 120 mm in diameter), coloured deep pink. The flowers are odourless. This begonia is suitable for hanging baskets, but also grows well in the open ground, near supports.
In addition, this begonia prefers to grow in organic-rich, loosened and moist soil. Direct sunlight is very detrimental to begonias, so they should be planted in semi-shady places. The flowering period lasts from June until August or September. Under favourable conditions the growing period can be extended. It is also virtually immune to garden diseases and is a very cold hardy variety. It can be grown as a potted plant and in the open air (flowerbeds, etc.).
