Potentilla (fruticosa) Pink Queen
Product Description
- The height of the bush is up to 80 cm.
- Width - up to 1.2 m
- Flowering time - May-October.
- The color of the leaves is dark green.
- Color of flowers - pink with a yellow center.
This delicate beauty is strewn with original pink flowers for quite a long time - the first ones appear in May, flowering ends in October, and sometimes this fantastic splash continues later - until November. At this time, the bush looks especially spectacular when the flowerbed has already lost its lively summer colors. The dense, luxurious plant stands out for its unusual pillow-like shape and elegant decoration - a sleek canvas of delicate pink flowers. It feels excellent in urban flower beds and suburban areas. The plant is highly resistant to adverse conditions in which it grows and does not require careful professional care. Pink Queen does not tolerate high-density soil and develops well in areas sufficiently illuminated by the sun, but it is also allowed to plant in light shade.

How to Plant
Guide and tips for planting potentilla plants
-
Choose a spot in your garden that receives full sun to partial shade and has well-draining soil.
-
Dig a hole that is slightly larger than the root ball of the potentilla plant.
-
Mix some compost or other organic matter into the soil at the bottom of the hole.
-
Remove the plant from its container and gently loosen any tangled or circling roots.
-
Place the potentilla plant in the hole and backfill with soil, making sure the plant is level and straight.
-
Tamp down the soil gently to remove any air pockets.
-
Water the plant thoroughly, making sure the soil is evenly moist.
-
Add a layer of mulch around the base of the plant to retain moisture and suppress weeds.
-
Water the plant regularly, especially during the hot and dry summer months.
-
Prune the plant in early spring to remove any dead or damaged branches and promote bushier growth.
