Product Description - Allium Miami
The Allium 'Miami' (Allium 'Miami') is a spectacular hybrid ornamental onion introduced in the early 2000s, celebrated for its large, perfectly spherical flower heads 12–15 cm across in a rich, glowing amethyst-purple with subtle pink undertones that hold their intense colour perfectly for 5–6 weeks. The densely packed, star-shaped florets create a bold, jewel-like globe that stands out brilliantly against the summer sky.
The plant forms strong, upright stems rising from narrow, grey-green foliage to a height of 90–110 cm (35–43 inches) with a spread of 25–35 cm. Multiple stems per mature bulb give a lavish, long-lasting display. Ideal for middle-to-back of borders, prairie-style plantings, or as stunning long-lasting cut flowers.
