Allium Jeannine will delight you with sunny summer blooms in a flower bed, near a path and in an outdoor container. The variety is responsive to fertilisers of natural origin.
Appearance and aroma
Allium belongs to the onion family of plants, but this flower does not have a pungent aroma. Only by rubbing the lanceolate mint-green leaves, you can sometimes feel a bitter aroma, while the buds are devoid of any smell. A peduncle breaks through the abundance of leaves in late spring. Six-petalled yellow flowers, collected in panicles, open at its edge.
