Product Description - Allium Ostara
The Allium 'Ostara' (Allium 'Ostara') is a spectacular hybrid (A. atropurpureum × A. karataviense), introduced in the 2010s, celebrated for its dense, perfectly rounded flower heads 8–10 cm across in a rich, glowing dark red-purple that holds its jewel-like intensity perfectly for 5–6 weeks. The tightly packed, star-shaped florets sit atop sturdy stems above broad, decorative, blue-green leaves that remain attractive long after flowering.
The plant forms elegant, medium-height clumps growing to a height of 50–70 cm (20–28 inches) with a spread of 25–35 cm. Ideal for middle-of-border impact, gravel gardens, contemporary plantings, or as outstanding long-lasting cut flowers.

To guarantee the best result and quality of our plants and bulbs, we dispatch all our orders at the right planting period. We monitor harvests in The Netherlands and weather conditions across Europe and start shipping our orders according to the following schedule:
