Product Description - Allium Party Balloons
The Allium 'Party Balloons' (Allium 'Party Balloons') is a spectacular Dutch-bred hybrid introduced in the late 2010s, celebrated for its truly massive, perfectly spherical flower heads up to 25–30 cm (10–12 inches) across in a rich, shimmering violet-purple that holds its intense colour perfectly for an astonishing 8–10 weeks — one of the longest-blooming giant alliums available. The huge, densely packed globes appear to float like party balloons on thick, rock-solid stems.
The plant forms strong, upright clumps growing to a height of 100–120 cm (40–47 inches) with a spread of 40–50 cm. The broad, grey-green foliage dies back early, leaving the clean stems to shine. Ideal as a dramatic focal point, back-of-border statement, or breathtaking long-lasting cut/dried flower.

We deliver flower bulbs, seeds, perennials, roses and other plants to more than 30 countries across Europe. The standard delivery charge is added on orders depending on the country where you live.
To guarantee the best result and quality of our plants and bulbs, we dispatch all our orders at the right planting period. We monitor harvests in The Netherlands and weather conditions across Europe and start shipping our orders according to the following schedule:
- Summer Flowering Bulbs (dahlias, gladioli, begonias, etc.) - from 1 March until 1 June.
- Spring Flowering Bulbs (tulips, hyacinths, daffodils, etc.) - from 23 September until 1 December.
- Seeds and Garden Tools – all year round
- Roses, Perennials (except peonies), Bushes and other plants in pots - from 1 March until 1 June.
