A marvellous, splendidly flowering, perennial bulbous plant. It is native to Africa. The flowers are very large with an excellent scent and sit on fairly tall, thickened flower arrows. Large bulbs can produce one to three flower arrows. Each of the arrows holds between 4 and 8 beautiful, large flowers.
How it looks
The flowers of this plant are fire-pink. They are about 19 cm in diameter. The flower stems are 48 to 53 cm tall. The petals of this variety are broad, beautifully oval in shape, with beautiful white stripes visible in the middle. The outer petals are slightly narrower than the inner ones. Each petal has subtle white streaks.

When fully opened, the petals will curl up beautifully and the flower shape will change. The pistil and stamens are dark pink. The stigma of the flower is white. The leaves of this variety are strap-shaped and not wide. The bulbs are up to 10 cm in diameter. On average it will take approximately two months from planting to flowering. This plant is ideal for cuttings.
