Product Description - Amaryllis (Hippeastrum) Himalaya
The spectacular bulbous amaryllis of the Himalaya variety blooms its pale white, green-streaked funnel-shaped buds in mid-winter or late spring. These dates depend on the time of purchase and planting the bulb in the ground. Its gorgeous bright green belt-like foliage is also a decoration during the long off-season.
Appearance

For good flowering, the bulb is buried in the ground only half or 1/3, choosing a small pot for the plant, only 2-3 cm larger than the diameter of the bulb itself. The variety is planted in light and well-drained soil, placing a layer of expanded clay or any other drainage on the bottom of the pot. After flowering, the plant is provided with a bright and cool place to recuperate and build up the lost bulb volume. During flowering, the pot is placed on the lightest windowsill and abundant watering with top dressing is carried out.
