Begonia Pendula White
Product Description - Begonia Pendula White
Begonia Pendula White is a graceful ampelous plant that captivates with its elegance and sophistication. Its long shoots decorated with snow-white flowers create a delicate waterfall that fits perfectly into any space, adding lightness and charm.
Appearance and Features:
Begonia Pendula White is distinguished by its long, hanging shoots, up to 40 cm long, which are densely covered with large double flowers of pure white color. The flowers, 8-10 cm in diameter, have a perfect shape due to their numerous delicate petals, which create the impression of volume and airiness.
The contrast to the snow-white flowers is the deep green foliage with a smooth texture and jagged edges. The foliage tightly covers the shoots, giving the plant a luxurious look. In combination with cascading flowers, this creates the effect of a magical stream that literally fills the space with light and harmony.
This plant is ideal for growing in hanging planters, pots or balcony boxes. It is the choice for those who want to create an atmosphere of tenderness and elegance.

How to Plant - Begonia Pendula White
Guide and tips for planting begonia bulbs
-
Choose the planting location: Begonias prefer partial shade to full shade and well-drained soil. Avoid planting in areas with standing water or where the soil remains soggy after rainfall.
-
Prepare the soil: Loosen the soil and remove any weeds or debris from the planting area. Amend the soil with compost or organic matter to improve the soil's fertility and drainage.
-
Plant the bulbs: Dig a hole that is about 5-7 cm deep and place the Begonia bulbs with their pointed end facing up. Space the bulbs about 15-20 cm apart.
-
Cover the bulbs: Cover the Begonia bulbs with soil and gently press down to remove air pockets. Make sure the soil level is even with the surrounding soil.
-
Water the bulbs: Give the bulbs a thorough watering after planting to settle the soil around the bulbs. Begonia bulbs prefer consistently moist soil, so water them regularly, but avoid over-watering as this can cause rot.
-
Mulch the area: Add a layer of organic mulch around the bulbs to help retain moisture and suppress weed growth. Keep the mulch a few inches away from the base of the bulbs to prevent rot.
-
Monitor the bulbs: Begonia bulbs typically take about 6-8 weeks to emerge from the soil, so be patient. Once they emerge, water and fertilize regularly to encourage healthy growth. Begonias can bloom in late spring to early summer and may require occasional fertilization throughout the growing season.
