Appearance and aroma
Goldilocks botanical crocuses bloom with bright yellow flowers in early spring. They have classic goblet-shaped inflorescences of medium size. The perianth consists of 6 petals. The leaves of the crocus are narrow, linear. The colour of the leaves is dark green with a white stripe in the middle. Despite the fact that the peduncle is short but quite strong, miniature crocuses have a special charm, especially if you see a whole blooming carpet of these plants.

How to Plant - Crocus Goldilocks
Guide and tips for planting Iris Perennials Bare-Root Plants

Prepare the soil: Iris plants prefer well-drained soil with a pH level of 6.0 to 7.0. Amend the soil with compost or organic matter to improve the soil's fertility and drainage.

Choose the planting location: Select a spot that receives at least 6 hours of direct sunlight per day. Avoid planting in areas with standing water or where the soil remains soggy after rainfall.

Dig a hole: Dig a hole deep enough to accommodate the roots of the plant. The hole should be shallow, only about 4 cm deep, and wide enough to spread the roots out.

Place the bare-root plant in the hole: Gently spread the roots out and place the plant in the hole. The top of the rhizome, the thickened root-like stem, should be visible above the soil surface. Backfill the hole with soil and press down firmly to eliminate air pockets.
