Currant White Collection (3 bare-root plants)

Currant White Collection is a curated selection of white currant bushes chosen for their delicate, mild flavour and attractive translucent berries. The pale, jewel-like fruits look beautiful on the plant and add a refined touch to summer desserts, mixed berry bowls, and fresh snacking plates. White currants are also ideal for light-coloured jams, jellies, and juices with a clean, elegant taste. Planted as a small row or grouped in the garden, they form a productive berry feature that’s both decorative and rewarding.

The plants grow to a height of about 100–150 cm (39–59 inches), depending on variety and pruning, and produce berries about 0.8–1.2 cm across in white to pale yellow translucent tones. The ripening clusters hang neatly against green foliage, making harvest easy and the display especially charming in early to mid-summer. Harvest typically runs from June to August, and the collection performs best in full sun to light partial shade in fertile, well-drained soil kept evenly moist during flowering and fruit swelling. Annual late-winter pruning helps keep bushes open, healthy, and reliably productive for years.
