Dahlia Royal Collection is a luxurious mix of dahlia tubers selected for a premium summer display with extra-large, showy blooms and rich, elegant colouring. The assortment is designed to give sunny borders and large patio containers a polished, “designed” look, while also supplying impressive stems for cutting and arranging. For a more dramatic finish, combine the flowers with dark foliage plants or airy ornamental grasses to emphasise the deep tones and bold flower shapes.
The plant grows to a height of 40–120 cm (16–47 inches) and produces spectacular blooms with a diameter of about 10–25 cm in a rich, assorted “royal” colour mix (exact shades may vary). The large flower heads create a strong focal point in borders and provide statement stems for arrangements where you want fullness and drama. Flowering runs from summer until the first frost, keeping the display active well into the late season. To guarantee the best result and quality of our plants and bulbs, we dispatch all our orders at the right planting period. We monitor harvests in The Netherlands and weather conditions across Europe and start shipping our orders according to the following schedule:
- Summer Flowering Bulbs (dahlias, gladioli, begonias, etc.) - from 23 March until 1 July.
- Spring Flowering Bulbs (tulips, hyacinths, daffodils, etc.) - from 20 September until 1 December.
- Seeds and Garden Tools – all year round
- Roses, Perennials (except peonies), Bushes and other plants in pots - from 1 March until 1 June.
