The Strawberry Fields action shrub got its name in honor of the Dutch botanist who developed this decorative deciduous plant. But, unfortunately, even a lucky person cannot meet it in natural conditions.
Appearance and aroma
Spreading deciduous shrub belongs to the early flowering type. The plant blooms large pink flowers in the form of bowls in June and keeps them for several weeks. The flowers have a pleasant fresh scent and delicate floral notes. Delta can reach a height of 2 meters. Shoots are often arched, brown, and overgrown with dark ovate leaves.

How to Plant - Deutzia hybrida Strawberry Fields
Deutzia planting instructions and tips

Choose a sunny to partially shady spot in your garden with well-draining soil.

Dig a hole that is two times as wide and slightly deeper than the root ball of the deutzia plant.

Mix some compost or other organic matter into the soil at the bottom of the hole.

Place the deutzia plant in the hole and fill the hole halfway with soil.

Gently tamp the soil down and water thoroughly.

Add the remaining soil and firm it around the base of the plant.
