Product Description - Eremurus Shelford Collection
Eremurus Shelford Hybriden is an original perennial for the garden in the form of a pyramidal sultan with a height of 90 to 120 cm. It grows in open and closed ground. Colourful candle-shaped inflorescences up to half a metre long "burn" for a couple of weeks in June. Flowers up to 4 cm in diameter bloom from the lower tiers of the inflorescence. Look great in group plantings. It is better to plant in the ground in autumn in a sunny place.

They grow well in well-drained, rich soil. Perennials are resistant to drought. They like moisture, but not waterlogging. Planting in a draft is not recommended. They respond well to fertilisation. Hibernate in peaty or mulched soil. Can be propagated by dividing rhizomes or seeds.

To guarantee the best result and quality of our plants and bulbs, we dispatch all our orders at the right planting period. We monitor harvests in The Netherlands and weather conditions across Europe and start shipping our orders according to the following schedule:
- Summer Flowering Bulbs (dahlias, gladioli, begonias, etc.) - from 1 March until 1 June.
- Spring Flowering Bulbs (tulips, hyacinths, daffodils, etc.) - from 23 September until 1 December.
- Seeds and Garden Tools – all year round
- Roses, Perennials (except peonies), Bushes and other plants in pots - from 1 March until 1 June.
