Erythronium Lilac Wonder

Planting and care instructions

For best results, plant this category at the recommended depth and grow it in a suitable location.

• Planting: Plant as soon as possible in humus-rich, moisture-retentive soil. Place the bulbs about 10 cm deep and 10–15 cm apart, and do not let them dry out.
• Light & location: Grow in partial shade or light shade.
• Watering: Water after planting and keep the soil evenly moist, but avoid waterlogging.
• After flowering: Let the foliage die back naturally after flowering so the plant can store energy for the next season.
• Feeding & care: Add compost or organic mulch in spring to supply nutrients and help the soil retain moisture.
• Useful tip: Leave plants undisturbed to naturalise; divide overcrowded clumps after the foliage has died back.
