Product Description - Galanthus elwesii Snow Fox
Galanthus Elwesii Snow Fox is a true symbol of spring awakening, blooming even before the full melting of the snow. Its delicate, nodding flowers feature pure white outer petals with characteristic green markings on the inner ones, resembling tiny bells that adorn the garden in the first warm days. With its elongated, bluish-green leaves, the plant appears refined and tidy.
Snow Fox belongs to the Galanthus elwesii species—snowdrops with larger flowers and stronger stems that can withstand spring frosts. This variety is perfect for naturalized plantings under trees, on lawns, in rock gardens, or woodland corners of the garden, where it spreads easily and forms delicate spring carpets.
The plant is undemanding and thrives best in moist, well-drained soils in partial shade or full sun. After blooming, its leaves gradually die back, leaving space for other spring flowers.
