Product Description - Gladiolus Blue Isle
Gladiolus ‘Blue Isle’ is a striking gladiolus that brings clear blue colour and elegant vertical accents to summer and autumn borders. Its large blooms create a strong focal point and pair beautifully with ornamental grasses, dahlias, and late-season perennials for a fresh, modern contrast. Loved by pollinators, it helps fill the garden with extra movement and life during the peak season. This variety is also excellent for cutting, adding cool-toned drama and structure to tall seasonal arrangements.
The plant grows to a height of 100 cm (39 inches) and produces impressive flowers with a diameter of 10–15 cm in a vivid blue shade. Its showy blooms, arranged along upright stems above fresh green, sword-like foliage, are ideal for the middle to back of sunny borders, statement groups in mixed beds, and long-lasting cut-flower displays throughout the season. Flowering runs from summer into autumn, and ‘Blue Isle’ performs best in full sun in fertile, well-drained soil with consistent moisture during active growth.
