Product Description - Hippeastrum sonatini White Rascal
Amaryllis White Rascal is a delicate flower. The flowers are huge, white with a creamy tint and a lettuce heart. Amaryllis is a bulbous perennial. The flowers are up to 14 cm in size. The flower is odourless. The leaves are glossy, strap-shaped and dark green. The bulb is fleshy, rounded and slightly elongated. It measures up to 10 cm in diameter. It produces one or two flower stalks which produce 3-4 flowers. The plant is 50-70 cm tall.

From planting to flowering it usually takes 5-6 weeks, but sometimes less than 4 weeks. Planting time: October to December for autumn planting and March to May for spring planting. Blooms once or twice a year indoors. Flowering period: February-March (usually 6-10 weeks after planting), or May-June if planted in the spring.
As long as the cultivation rules are followed, one hippeastrum bulb will give you 15-20 years of enjoyment. The variety is suitable for pot cultivation as well as for cutting. All you have to do is order bulbs to enjoy this lushly bright flower in your home. In order for the plant to flower annually, it must replenish its nutrient reserves via its leaves. Therefore, move the plant to a bright location after flowering. Water and feed it regularly.

Guide and tips for planting amaryllis(hippeastrum) bulbs

Choose a pot that is at least 4 cm wider than the bulb and has drainage holes in the bottom.

Fill the pot with well-draining soil, leaving about 2 cm of space at the top.

Place the bulb in the center of the pot, with the pointed end facing up.

Cover the bulb with soil, leaving the top one-third of the bulb exposed.

Water the soil until it is evenly moist, but not waterlogged.

Place the pot in a warm, bright location with indirect sunlight.

Water the plant only when the top inch of soil is dry to the touch.

As the plant grows, support the stalk with a stake to prevent it from bending or breaking.

After the flowers have faded, cut the stem off at the base and continue to care for the plant by watering it regularly and providing it with bright, indirect sunlight.
