This slow-growing variety likes shade or semi-shade. Its white flowers, up to 6 cm in diameter, bloom in June/August. The plant is up to 65 cm tall and the flower stalk can reach a height of 90-110 cm. It is undemanding to the soil, but grows and flowers better in fertile and friable soils. The hosta is hardy and unpretentious.
