Product Description ( Hosta Gold Standard )
Gold Standard is a medium sized plant. The young leaves are a delicate golden colour with dark green edges. Flowering usually takes place between June and July.
The plants should be planted in April or May, at a depth of 5 cm. The distance between adjacent seedlings should be at least 45 cm. On the plus side, this variety is fairly resistant to snail and slug infestations. If the plants are planted in the shade, they will have a deeper green colour.

However, in July, when the sun is at its brightest, the leaves will be a brilliant yellow.
The Gold Standard hosta is a perennial: In its first year of growth, the centre of the flower may be a delicate yellow, whereas as an adult it will be golden yellow with a thin, dark green rim.
