Product Description - Hosta Prima Donna
The hybrid is one of the largest of the species. Its ornamental value lies in its large, beautiful leaves with a contrasting stripe. Suitable for planting next to bodies of water, in solitary or group plantings.
Appearance and fragrance
The Prima Donna hosta forms a medium height bush, reaching a height of 55 cm at the highest point. It's very wide, with a diameter of over 120 cm. A large free space is required so that the plant can expand to its full height.
The plant has large, heart-shaped, veined green leaves. The leaves have a dark green colour with a narrow, pale yellow border. Length of leaf about 35 cm.
The Prima Donna hosta flowers with abundant pale purple bells on slender upright stalks.

How to Plant - Hosta Prima Donna
Guide and tips for planting Hosta Bare-Root Plants

Choose the planting location: Hosta plants prefer partial shade to full shade and well-drained soil. Avoid planting in areas with standing water or where the soil remains soggy after rainfall.

Prepare the soil: Loosen the soil and remove any weeds or debris from the planting area. Amend the soil with compost or organic matter to improve the soil's fertility and drainage.

Soak the Bare-Root Plants: Soak the Hosta Bare-Root Plants in water for at least an hour before planting. This will help to hydrate the roots and encourage healthy growth.
