About Hosta ‘White Feather XXL’ – Roots and Foliage
Hosta ‘White Feather XXL’ is an exceptional variety known for its striking, large, creamy-white foliage. The leaves have a unique, elegant texture and are highlighted by light green margins that create a stunning contrast. This hosta is larger in size, with a bold, upright growth habit that makes it a perfect focal point for shaded gardens or larger containers. With its eye-catching appearance, ‘White Feather XXL’ adds both drama and sophistication to any garden space.
How to Plant Hosta ‘White Feather XXL’?
For best growth, plant Hosta ‘White Feather XXL’ in rich, well-drained soil in partial to full shade. Space plants about 60–90 cm apart to allow for their large size. Water consistently to keep the soil moist, but ensure it drains well to prevent waterlogging. Mulch around the base to retain moisture and suppress weeds. Fertilize in early spring and again in mid-summer to promote healthy foliage and strong growth. This variety is low-maintenance and thrives in cool, shaded environments.
