Product Description - Hyacinthoides Non-scripta
Hyacinthoides Excelsior is an exquisite spring accent that brings hints of the wild and colorful depth to the garden. This variety is one of the most striking forms of the wild English hyacinth, also known as ""bluebell."" Its nodding, bell-shaped flowers in deep blue-violet color densely cover a one-sided inflorescence, forming an elegant arch on the sturdy flower stalk.
Excelsior stands out with its increased decorative appeal due to a greater number of flowers on the stem. This makes it noticeable and expressive even among other spring blooms. Its light, pleasant fragrance adds extra charm to spring compositions.
Perfect for naturalized plantings under trees, in rock gardens, borders, and mixed borders. It looks great in mass plantings as well as when paired with other spring bulbs like tulips, daffodils, and muscari.
