About Hydrangea (Hortensia) Paniculata Little Passion Bulbs and Flowers

The Little Passion variety is celebrated for its stunning, conical-shaped flower clusters. These blooms start as creamy white, transitioning to a soft, delicate pink as they mature. This transformation provides a delightful display of colors that will leave you in awe.

How to plant Hydrangea (Hortensia) Paniculata Little Passion?

Plant your Hydrangea (Hortensia) Paniculata Little Passion in potting mix with the top third of the bulb sticking up out of the soil. Place the pot near a bright window, where it can receive a lot of sunlight. When the bulb sprouts, begin watering regularly around the bulb. After sprouting, turn the pot regularly, because stalks will grow toward the sunlight.

Flowering Period

Hydrangea Paniculata Little Passion boasts an extended flowering period, typically beginning in early summer and continuing through late autumn. This extended bloom time ensures that your garden will be graced with the Little Passion's breathtaking beauty for months on end. Whether you're creating a tranquil oasis in your backyard or enhancing your indoor floral arrangements, these hydrangeas are the perfect choice.

Hydrangea planting instructions and tips

  • Choose a suitable location: Hydrangeas prefer partially shaded areas with well-draining soil. Avoid planting them in areas with full sun or where the soil remains constantly wet.

  • Prepare the soil: Dig a hole that is twice as wide and deep as the root ball of the hydrangea plant. Mix in some compost or well-rotted manure to enrich the soil and improve its drainage.

  • Plant the hydrangea: Gently remove the plant from its container and place it in the center of the hole. The top of the root ball should be level with the surrounding soil. Backfill the hole with the soil mixture and lightly tamp it down.

  • Water the plant: Give the newly planted hydrangea a deep watering to settle the soil around the roots. Water it regularly, especially during hot and dry weather.

  • Mulch around the plant: Apply a layer of organic mulch around the base of the plant to help retain moisture in the soil and suppress weeds.

  • Care for the plant: Hydrangeas require regular care, including pruning, fertilizing, and pest control. Follow the recommended guidelines for your specific hydrangea variety to ensure its optimal growth and health.
