Appearance and aroma
As a rule, 5-7 buds are formed on the stem. The fouls are presented in a fawn-apricot colour with a yellow spot with apricot veining. The edging is also yellow. Throughout the growing season, the foliage resembles grasses.
Iris Siberica Jerry Murphy has the following features:
- height - reaches 77 cm;
- flower is small, about 10 cm in diameter;
- leaves are graceful, bright green in colour;
- aroma - fresh, with spicy notes;
The plant takes root well on the sunny side of the garden, in partial shade at most. In the shady part, the iris will simply wither away. It will last a little more than three days in a cut. It is quite resistant to frost, only in some cases it is necessary to cover the upper part of the protruding root with peat.
