Product Description - Lily (Lilium) Forever Linda
Lily Forever Linda (Lilium asiatic 'Forever Linda', Bi-colour lily). New! An Asian lily of two-colour bright colour will not leave anyone indifferent! It is of hybrid origin. This is one of the dwarf varieties of the series, which was originally intended for creating borders. But it is also unique and useful in the garden. The plant looks better when it is in a group planting in the foreground in a flower garden and in a rock garden. It can also be grown in containers. The Forever Linda lily can take its rightful place in the collection of every grower! Pay attention to another equally attractive variety - the Forever Susan lily.
Asian hybrids are easy to grow. They do not require a lot of fussy work around them. This lily is hardy. They look great as cut flowers. When you plant them in pots, it is better to use good quality potting mixes.
Excellent characteristics:
- This lily is one of the first to bloom.
- The flowers are large and appear in early summer. But they lack fragrance.
- Shiny flashy red petals with a yellow centre, as if painted in oil.
- Against their background, the dark green foliage contrasts beautifully and impressively.
- Anthers are reddish in colour.
- The flowers are all facing upwards.
- The size of the flower is from 7.5 to 15 cm in diameter.
- They are great for cutting.
- The flowering period is from June to July.
- The plant is 35-40 cm tall and 25-30 cm wide.
- Planted in the same place as daffodils and tulips, lily bulbs extend the spring blooming season into summer.
- Looks better in groups of 3-5 (or more). Does not need support.
- To get abundant blooms, add a slow-release fertiliser when planting, or feed the plant with a liquid fertiliser every two weeks during flowering.
- This perennial will complete its life cycle in three or more years. It is very hardy, withstanding temperatures down to -40°C.

How to Plant - Lily (Lilium) Forever Linda
Planting & Care Instructions
Lilies are elegant summer-flowering bulbs ideal for garden beds, borders, pots and cut flower arrangements. For the best flowering results, choose a suitable location and follow the recommended planting depth for high-quality bulbs.
- Planting time: Plant the bulbs in spring (March to May) or autumn (September to December). Flowering time generally occurs in summer, from June to July.
- Position & soil: Choose a sunny position or partial shade. Plant in rich, loose and well-drained soil. Avoid areas where water tends to collect.
- Planting depth & spacing: Place the bulbs with the pointed end facing upwards. For standard lily bulbs, size 14/16 cm (XL), plant approximately 12–15 cm deep and 20–30 cm apart.
- Watering: Water regularly during active growth and flowering, but avoid waterlogging. Ensure proper drainage to keep the bulbs healthy.
- Growing in containers: Use pots or balcony boxes with drainage holes and a rich, well-drained potting mix. Ensure containers are deep enough to accommodate root growth.
- After flowering: Remove faded flowers to prevent seed formation, but allow the stem and foliage to remain until they naturally turn yellow and die back. This allows the bulb to store energy for the next season.
- Returning each year: Lilies are winter-hardy perennials that naturally return and bloom year after year when left undisturbed in suitable growing conditions.
