Lily (Lilium) Orange Planet
Lily (Lilium) Orange Planet - flower bulbs and perennial plants from Holland
Product Description - Lily (Lilium) Orange Planet
This flower belongs to the tubular hybrids of lilies. The Orange Planet variety is resistant to diseases and is not demanding in care. Such beautiful huge tubular flowers, if you collect them in a bouquet, will really resemble an orange planet, after which they were named by breeders.
Appearance and aroma
The flowers of this variety have an elongated shape and are slightly larger than other tubular hybrids. The tips of the petals are twisted, this shape is called turban-shaped. The petals, stamens, pistil and anthers are deep orange, and the stigma is burgundy. The buds on the inflorescence grow sideways. The middle of the flower is green with green streaks.
The plant will delight you with a pleasant unobtrusive aroma. This variety is suitable for decorating holiday bouquets and will become a bright decoration of the garden among other lilies.
- Orange Planet will bloom in July and August.
- This variety is tall and can grow up to 160 cm.
- The flowers are large, 18 cm in diameter. When in full bloom, they look dome-shaped due to the petals bent in the opposite direction.
- The inflorescence can contain from 10 to 30 buds.

Guide and tips for plantinglilium(lily) bulbs
Choose a sunny spot in your garden with well-draining soil.
Dig a hole that is 2-3 times deeper than the height of the bulb.
Mix some compost or other organic matter into the soil at the bottom of the hole.
Place the bulb in the hole with the pointed end facing up.
Fill the hole with soil and gently firm the soil around the bulb.
Water the soil until it is evenly moist.
Cover the area with a layer of mulch to help retain moisture and suppress weeds.
Water the bulb regularly, making sure not to let the soil dry out completely.
As the plant grows, provide support to the stem to prevent it from bending or breaking.
After the flowers have faded, cut the stem off at the base and continue to care for the plant by watering it regularly and providing it with full sun or partial shade.
