Product Description - Lilium Red Twin
The pollen-free, terrycloth Asian lily is astonishing. It will add a bright splash of brick red to any garden! This variety is also known by another name: 'Cocktail Twin'. This lily is extremely hardy and will grow to around 100cm in height.
Appearance
This might just become your new favourite Asian lily! Its flowers average up to 12 centimetres in diameter and look upwards. Each flower can have at least twice as many petals and sepals, which are very similar to each other. The edges of the petals are slightly ruffled and the tips are attractively twisted.

The colour of the petals is quite rare. The petals are deep red closer to the centre and fade to a transparent orange-yellow at the tips. The leaves are thick, small and green in colour.
This variety blooms early: from early to mid-summer. It is ideal for planting in the background and looks stunning as a cut flower. The beauty of its flowers can be admired year after year. This lily propagates quickly to increase the beauty of the garden. It grows in full sun or partial shade. It is very easy to grow and adapts well to most soils. Any mildly acidic soil will do. It prefers well-drained soils but will tolerate heavy soils. It is very hardy, being able to grow to -40 °C. A reliable plant! It is also ideal for growing in containers. It looks best in groups of 3-5 (or more).

How to Plant - Lilium Red Twin
Guide and tips for plantinglilium(lily) bulbs

Choose a sunny spot in your garden with well-draining soil.

Dig a hole that is 2-3 times deeper than the height of the bulb.

Mix some compost or other organic matter into the soil at the bottom of the hole.

Place the bulb in the hole with the pointed end facing up.

Fill the hole with soil and gently firm the soil around the bulb.

Water the soil until it is evenly moist.

Cover the area with a layer of mulch to help retain moisture and suppress weeds.

Water the bulb regularly, making sure not to let the soil dry out completely.

As the plant grows, provide support to the stem to prevent it from bending or breaking.

After the flowers have faded, cut the stem off at the base and continue to care for the plant by watering it regularly and providing it with full sun or partial shade.
