Product Description
Why stop at just one colour when the beautifully blooming Robert Swanson Lily gives both refreshing and warming notes on its petals? All the more so when its scent is extremely pleasant.
Appearance and scent
In the first year after planting it produces a short, straight stem with 5-6 buds. The older the plant, the taller and more foliated the stem becomes. The flowers are large and very bright - lemon with ruby strokes. By the third year of growth, the plant may have about 20-25 buds with strongly turned out petals. Its scent is not sugary but is quite sweet and memorable.

How to Plant
Guide and tips for plantinglilium(lily) bulbs

Choose a sunny spot in your garden with well-draining soil.

Dig a hole that is 2-3 times deeper than the height of the bulb.

Mix some compost or other organic matter into the soil at the bottom of the hole.

Place the bulb in the hole with the pointed end facing up.

Fill the hole with soil and gently firm the soil around the bulb.

Water the soil until it is evenly moist.

Cover the area with a layer of mulch to help retain moisture and suppress weeds.

Water the bulb regularly, making sure not to let the soil dry out completely.

As the plant grows, provide support to the stem to prevent it from bending or breaking.

After the flowers have faded, cut the stem off at the base and continue to care for the plant by watering it regularly and providing it with full sun or partial shade.
