The elegant Chocolate Event lily is a representative of the Asian group. These hybrid plants, about 110 cm high, have a high level of frost resistance, strong immunity to diseases, and are easy to care for. Their rather large flowers, about 18 cm in diameter, have pale yellow petals with a burgundy bloom. Midsummer is the time when the delicate buds bloom and the air is filled with a persistent, lily-like scent. Flowering lasts from 2 to 4 weeks.
These perennials show their full decorative potential in sunny or semi-shaded areas where the soil is fertile and well-drained. They like moisture, but not waterlogging. Propagated by bulbs, which are planted in autumn and spring. These flowers are a great decoration for flower beds and bouquets.
